The Barons are a Virginia-based alternative rock band led by vocalist and guitarist Peyton Alley, alongside drummer Mathes Glymph, lead guitarist Josiah Ragland, bassist Kirtland Gray, and saxophonist Jack Peacock. Formed in 2016, The Barons have developed a sound that blends analog, guitar-driven indie rock with introspective songwriting and a dynamic live energy. Over the years, the band has built a following throughout the East Coast, headlining venues and college events while sharing the stage with artists including Catfish and the Bottlemen, flipturn, Barns Courtney, and The Aces. After releasing a string of singles throughout their career, The Barons released their debut full-length album, Le Château, on November 7, 2025. The album was featured on NPR's New Music Friday, marking a significant milestone for the band and bringing their music to a broader national audience. With a growing catalog, energetic live show, and an expanding presence across the East Coast, The Barons continue to carve out their place in the modern alternative rock landscape.
