River City Roll was born from a simple question: why can't boutique bowling coexist with a premier culinary experience? Located in the historic heart of Richmond's Scott’s Addition, we set out to completely dismantle the old stereotype of dusty, fluorescent-lit alleys serving stale snacks. We envisioned a design-forward community hub that merges the nostalgic energy of bowling with the sophisticated, welcoming atmosphere of an upscale neighborhood bar.
Reimagining the Lane Experience
We believe that standard entertainment should never mean standard hospitality. From day one, our mission has been to elevate every single detail of your night out. We replaced cramped plastic seating with plush, living-room-style couches and coffee tables, introduced dedicated lane servers, and installed custom automatic bumpers. The result is a seamless social environment where you can connect, compete, and relax without ever breaking the conversation.

At the absolute core of our story is a deep passion for exceptional food and drink. Led by Chef Brad Slemaker, our kitchen treats the menu with the same respect and creativity you would expect from a high-end restaurant.
